Apprentice Trainer in Austria

 

Congratulation to both pesilat of "Bakti Negara" from Austria, Delpos Alexander and Mario Adam, who succeeded in obtaining blue belt (kader Muda) on danur dara (grading) which conducted at the Wiyata Mandala Pusat Batu Mekaem - Ubung Kaja - Denpasar - Bali on Agust 2008. At that moment Delpos Alexander was also inagurated by Guru Besar I Bagus Alit Dira as the apprentice trainer of "Bakti Negara" in Austria. Again conratulation, good work and good luck....

Pencak Silat - Inside the 17th PON 2008

Every 4 years, the PON (National olympic games) atract of the National media. This year's the 17th PON are happening in East Borneo, with many people coming from all over the country to wacth the macthes and support their team in their quest for the PON golds. At this prestisious event, pesilat's "Bakti Negara" successfully won a total of 11 medals, 2 Gold, 5 silvers, and 4 bronze trophies.

A friendly competition in Vietnam

To fight for the 17th PON (National Olympic Games), which will be conducting soon in Samarinda - East Borneo on the coming of July 2008, some pesilat of "Bakti Negara" who joint the Balinese Team was bring by Balinese Pencak Silat Board for a friendly competition with the Ho Chi Minch City Team in Vietnam. Previously they also had some friendly competition with other teams from Indonesia (South Sumatera, East Java, and East Borneo). A proper measure for maturing pesilat, so that they able to get maximum achievement later in Samarinda. Vietnam was choosing because of  their reputation as one of the strongest team in the world right now, and produced so many pesilats with Internasional achievements.

The 53rd Universary of "Bakti Negara"

"Bakti Negara" reached the age of 53 on 31 January 2008 and commemorated the anniversary at The Wiyata Mandala Pusat - Batu Mekaem - Ubung Kaja - Denpasar.
The leader of “Bakti Negara” Bali, Ir. Tjokorde Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati, M.Si who has been chosen as The Regent of Gianyar Regency for period of 2008 – 2013, and many pendekars, branch officials, trainers, pesilats from the entire of Bali attended the commemoration. The commemoration was solemn, and gave significant meaning to “Bakti Negara” in welcoming the future with various challenges.

Happy Anniversary 53rd “Bakti Negara” and good luck …..

Mannie de Matos,
  Mannie de Matos, a man from western Australia who have many experience in martial arts such as Tae Kwon Do, Budo - Jitsu CQC, 7 Star Praying Mantis, Wing Chun, Kick Boxing, Kali as well as Amateur Boxing decided to learn "Bakti Negara" knife fighting system while he was on vacation in Bali from 27 - 31 December 2007.

It was a really nice time to see you mannie, thank you very much for aquiring knowledge and sharing experience with us. See you again soon.

POMNAS X 2007

Our athlete I Gusti Ngurah Arya Yuda Parmita competed the POMNAS X (Student Olympic Games) from 31 October to 07 November 2007 in Banjarmasin - South Kalimantan and came back with gold medal.

He won the tunggal seni (Solo Artistic) category.

Congratulation for this achievement and keep on training as the XVII National Olympic Games in East Borneo is next year!

Our guest on November

The beginning of this month, "Bakti Negara" was visited by two (2) Team Pencak Silat from Europe after competing The World Championship Pencak Silat in Kuantan - Malaysia, they were : Spain Team Pencak Silat on 02 November 2007 and U.K. Team Pencak Silat on 03 November 2007, brought by Mr. Aidinal Alrashid The President of The Pencak Silat Federation of the U.K. It was so great had a courtesey visit of pencak silat extended family from Europe. Hopefully in the future we able to work together for promoting Pencak Silat. Nice to see you guys

Rudolf Ammann,

He is a pesilat from Germany, who has learning pencak silat for twelve years and has becoming a trainner of an pencak silat academy there in Germany for five years. In the middle of his vacation here in Bali, he spent his time for a week of training "Bakti Negara" basic skill at Wiyata Mandala Pusat "Bakti Negara" from 28 October to 01 November 2007. It was nice taught you "Bakti Negara", see you next time rudy.

Our guest on August

On this early of August "Bakti Negara" has been arrived by eight (8) pesilats from Austria. Their great motivation of learning the indigeneous martial art system of Indonesia brought them to Bali for 19 days training of "Bakti Negara" basic skill at the Wiyata Mandala Pusat "Bakti Negara" Denpasar - Bali from 3 - 22 August 2007.

Yellow belt for Nicolas Diomar

After two years frequently traveling to Bali for a fanatic training of "Bakti Negara" with I Bagus Nyoman Adi, on the early December 2006 through The Danur Dara of "Bakti Negara" (grading) conducted at Wiyata Mandala - Batu Bekaem - Denpasar - Bali, Nicolas Diomar a pesilat from Moissy Cramayel - France successfully received his yellow belt in "Bakti Negara".

The Panasonic Cirkuit Pencak Silat National 2006

On 15 to 19 November 2006, our pesilat fought The Panasonic Circuit Pencak Silat National hosted by PB IPSI (Executive Board of Indonesian Assosiation of Pencak Silat) at The Padepokan Pencak Silat Indonesia in Jakarta, and brought good results in the tournament.

The tournament was only fight catagory without art catagory and based on double knock out system, so each competitor had to fight 5 - 6 times to get to the finals. Complete results below:

Wahyu Purbasari 1st Place 65 - 70 Kilo Men Classification, Ni Made Sri Devi 2nd Place 60 - 65 Kilo Women Classification, Ni Komang Sri Handayani 2nd Place 65 - 70 Kilo Women Classification, and I Nyoman Dona 2nd Place 75 - 80 Kilo Men Classification.
